Konami's 1989 Turtles games: a four-player arcade brawler and a tough NES adventure, both from the height of Turtle mania.

April O'Neil and Splinter are kidnapped by Shredder and the Foot Clan. Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael head out through the streets and sewers of New York to rescue them.

About the game

The arcade game lets four friends play at once, each as a different turtle.

The NES game is a harder side-scrolling adventure, with a famously tricky underwater level.

History

Konami released both the arcade game and the NES game in 1989.
