Crusader: No Remorse

Origin's 1995 isometric action game: a faceless soldier, destructible everything and explosions all around.

In the 22nd century, a world government ruled by corporations crushes all resistance. A Silencer, one of its elite soldiers, turns against it and joins the rebels.

Sold on GOG. Made for adults: it is violent.

About the game

Almost everything in a room can be blown up, and enemies die in dramatic ways, which was a big part of its appeal.

Between missions, live-action video scenes move the story forward at the rebel base.

History

Developed by Origin Systems on a modified Ultima VIII engine and released in 1995.

A sequel, Crusader: No Regret, followed in 1996.
