About the game

Six factions, upgradable creatures and a deep magic system made it far richer than the first game.

Hot-seat multiplayer, where friends take turns on one computer, made it a favourite for long evenings.

Developed by New World Computing and published by The 3DO Company in 1996.

The Price of Loyalty expansion came in 1997, and Heroes III followed in 1999.
