Dr. Wily has stolen Dr. Light's six industrial robots and turned them evil. Light's helper robot Rock becomes Mega Man to stop them and save the world.

About the game

You choose the order of the stages, and each defeated Robot Master gives you its weapon.

Every boss is weak to another boss's weapon, so the order you choose matters.

History

Developed and published by Capcom for the NES in 1987.

On PC it is part of the Mega Man Legacy Collection, with Mega Man 2 to 6.
