Secret of the Silver Blades

SSI's 1990 Gold Box sequel to Curse of the Azure Bonds, set in a frozen mining town with something terrible beneath it.

The miners of New Verdigris have dug into ancient tunnels and unleashed monsters. Answer their call for heroes, explore the mines and a frozen well of secrets, and stop the evil waking below.

Included in Forgotten Realms: The Archives – Collection Two on GOG.

About the game

It is heavy on dungeon crawling and big tactical battles, with characters reaching higher levels than in the earlier games.

You can import your party from Curse of the Azure Bonds and carry on their story.

History

Developed by SSI and released in 1990 as the third game in the Forgotten Realms Gold Box series.

Pools of Darkness ended this storyline in 1991.
