Alien Carnage (Halloween Harry)

An Australian-made 1994 action platformer for Apogee: a hero with a jetpack and a flamethrower against an alien invasion.

Aliens have landed and are turning people into zombies. Harry straps on his jetpack, grabs his flamethrower and fights his way through the city to rescue the hostages.

Released as freeware by Apogee / 3D Realms in 2007.

About the game

Harry can fly with his jetpack, so levels stretch up as well as across, with fuel to manage as you go.

Rescuing every hostage in a level unlocks the exit, and shops sell bigger weapons between levels.

History

Developed by SubZero Software in Australia and first released as Halloween Harry, then renamed Alien Carnage for its 1994 Apogee release.

3D Realms released it as freeware in May 2007.
