Westwood's 1995 real-time strategy hit, with live-action briefings and one of gaming's great villains, Kane.

A mysterious mineral called Tiberium is spreading across the Earth. The Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod go to war over it. Pick a side and fight for control.

Included in the Command & Conquer Remastered Collection, which lets you switch to the original graphics.

About the game

You harvest Tiberium for money, build a base and command tanks, infantry and aircraft in real time.

Full-motion video briefings, with Joseph D. Kucan as Kane, gave the campaigns a cinematic feel, and Frank Klepacki's music is legendary.

History

Developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive in 1995.

In 2020 Petroglyph and Lemon Sky remastered it, together with Red Alert, for Electronic Arts.
