About the game

Huge tombs are built on a grid, and precise jumps, climbs and swims are as important as shooting wolves and dinosaurs.

Lara's acrobatics and the lonely, echoing tombs gave it an atmosphere few games had.

History

Developed by Core Design in the UK and published by Eidos Interactive in 1996 for the Sega Saturn, PlayStation and PC.

A sequel arrived almost every year after, and the series continues today.
