About the game

Eight town types, from Castle to Necropolis, each with seven creature levels and upgrades, give it enormous variety.

Hot-seat and online play, a map editor and a huge fan community keep it alive more than 25 years later.

History

Developed by New World Computing and published by The 3DO Company in 1999. The Armageddon's Blade and Shadow of Death expansions followed.

Ubisoft released an HD edition in 2015, and fans still make new content for the original.
