Underwurlde

The second Sabreman game of 1984, which turned Ultimate's hero loose in a huge underground world of ropes, caverns and flying creatures.

About the game

Where Sabre Wulf was a top-down maze, Underwurlde is a large side-on platform game. Creatures bounce Sabreman around the screen, so a single touch can send you tumbling back down.

There is more than one way out of the caverns, each watched over by its own guardian, so how your game ends depends on the path you take.

History

Released for the ZX Spectrum in 1984, the same year as Sabre Wulf and Knight Lore, and later for the Commodore 64.

It is included in Rare Replay for Xbox, along with the rest of the Sabreman trilogy.
